The Artist
Behind this very common name is a woman of Italian heritage who shares the same love of God, family, tradition, beauty, nature, and, of course, food brought to this country by her immigrant grandparents nearly 100 years ago. Drawing and creating from the time she was a child, Janet is inspired by her life as a young girl, wife and mother and everything that surrounds her. Graduated with honors from the University of Akron with a B.F.A. in graphic design, Janet went on to a successful career at American Greetings in its licensing division. Today, she works from her Ohio studio with a breathtaking view of the state’s rolling hills creating art that is featured on a number of licensed products.
