Laurie Korsgaden’s watercolors are best loved for their beauty and detail. Her love of gardening and animals is evident with every brushstroke. Korsgaden began her commercial career in 1993. As a self-published artist, she sold open-edition prints to the wholesale framing industry. In the mid-Nineties, friends in the art industry introduced Korsgaden to the licensing industry. Since that time, her images have been licensed for use with more than 80 companies worldwide on various products in the stationery, home décor, craft and hobby, and housewares industries. Korsgaden continues to be a major force in the art industry by following contemporary trends in color and subject matter.
Korsgaden graduated from Long Beach State in zoology and biology and lives on the Central Coast of California. She has three grown children.
